Ghar Waapsi follows the journey of a young man who returns to his hometown after years of living away, grappling with the complexities of family relationships, nostalgia, and the search for his true identity.

Ghar Waapsi tells the heartfelt story of Shekhar, a young man who leaves his small hometown to pursue a successful career in the city. After years of chasing his dreams, he faces a sudden crisis that forces him to return home. Upon his arrival, he is met with a mix of warmth and resentment from his family, particularly from his father, Ratan, who harbors deep-seated disappointments about Shekhar’s choices.

Shekhar's mother, Madhu, provides a bridge between them, encouraging reconciliation and understanding. As Shekhar reconnects with his childhood friends, including his spirited neighbor, Akanksha, he begins to rediscover the values and bonds he once took for granted. Throughout his journey, Shekhar confronts the realities of his past, including the sacrifices his family made for him and the complexities of love, duty, and expectations.
