Dil Hai Hindustani is for all those in whose heart India and its music resides.  It doesn’t really matter if they are from India or from some faraway corner of the world like Morocco, Brazil, Russia, Uzbeikistan, Tejikistan, Oman or London.  Musical talent is the prime consideration – be it kids, or adults, solo or group, vocal or instrumental.   There is just one condition – they all have to perform Bollywood numbers – but here too they can perform original, remix, alternative, acapella, rock, rap, classical and any other versions there may be. Their pronunciations maybe wrong, their understanding of the lyrics may not be complete, but their hearts beat for music and talent springs from them like a fountain. To judge this highly talented pool of contestants are the very best of Bollywood - Karan Johar (film director), Badshah (sensational rapper), Shekhar Ravjiani ( music director) and Shalmali Kholgade (singer). This show is testimony that music can really move mountains….
