A fearless boy defies tradition to protect his infant sister, challenging a world ruled by caste and patriarchy. As he grows into a man shaped by sacrifice and sorrow, his love is tested by betrayal, ambition, and buried secrets. Will his fight for dignity and family survive the weight of a society that refuses to change?

Dhaakad Beera is a powerful family drama interwoven with social commentary, chronicling the emotional and courageous journey of Samrat, a boy who defies deep-rooted societal norms to protect his infant sister, Kishmish, after the untimely death of their mother. Set against the backdrop of a conservative village ruled by rigid caste traditions and patriarchal dominance, the story explores themes of sibling love, rebellion, sacrifice, and the fight for dignity in the face of prejudice.
In the early years, Samrat’s world is shattered when his mother dies shortly after childbirth. Her marriage to a man outside their caste had already led to her ostracization, and now her children are left vulnerable. The newborn Kishmish becomes the target of their grandmother, Bhanwari Devi—a formidable matriarch who sees the child as a stain on the family's honor and a threat to her authority. Samrat, only eight years old, makes a solemn promise to his dying mother: to protect Kishmish at all costs. This vow transforms him from a grieving child into a fierce guardian, challenging the oppressive customs of his village and earning the label of a “dhaakad” (fearless) warrior for change.
Bhanwari Devi, steeped in tradition and power, becomes Samrat’s greatest adversary. Her attempts to remove Kishmish from the family are met with Samrat’s unwavering resistance. He raises Kishmish as both brother and parent, shielding her from the cruelty of their surroundings while enduring emotional and social isolation. His defiance marks the beginning of a quiet revolution—one that questions caste, gender roles, and the very definition of family.
After a 12-year leap, the narrative shifts to a more complex and emotionally charged phase. Samrat is now an adult, having sacrificed his youth, dreams, and personal happiness to keep Kishmish safe. Kishmish, now 18, is a vibrant fashion influencer with aspirations that clash with the conservative world she was born into. Though she loves her brother deeply, she struggles with the guilt of being the reason behind his sacrifices, especially the love he once had to abandon.
Samrat’s life takes another painful turn when Kishmish’s safety is threatened again—this time by a ruthless enemy who manipulates the family from within. To protect her, Samrat agrees to marry Karishma, a decision that further entangles him in a web of betrayal and emotional turmoil. His past love story resurfaces, complicated by secrets and the scars of his earlier sacrifices.
The antagonist, a cunning and powerful figure, uses manipulation and deceit to destabilize the family, pushing Samrat into increasingly difficult choices. Every step forward seems to pull him deeper into a maze of misery, where love, loyalty, and justice are constantly tested.
Dhaakad Beera is not just a tale of sibling love—it is a story of resistance against societal injustice, of a young man who becomes a symbol of change in a world that refuses to evolve. It explores the emotional cost of heroism, the burden of promises, and the strength it takes to fight for those you love. Through Samrat’s journey, the show raises poignant questions about tradition, identity, and the true meaning of family.
