Anupama

The story of a married woman, who after many years of being Bereft of any love and respect in her own home and family, sets out to live her life on her own terms.

Anupama is the story of a devoted housewife, who harbors a secret desire to be a dancer someday. However, her responsibilities of being a wife, loving mother and daughter-in-law take precedence over everything else. She would always put her family’s needs ahead of hers. Despite her sacrifices and tireless efforts to keep her family happy, she keeps getting insulted for being an uneducated woman who does not contribute monetarily to the household.

Amidst this unhealthy and toxic environment in her family, she finds support in her son Samar and her father in law. However, when she finds out that her husband Vanraj has an affair with his colleague Kavya, her world comes crashing down.

What will Anupama do? Will she finally stand up for herself? Will her marriage survive? How will she go about carving an identity for herself?
