A unique funny family drama, this story revolves around the protagonist Roopa Awasthi who is married at the age of 18 to her sister’s husband - Amarnath, due to her sister’s sudden death. While the family loves Roopa, Amarnath doesn’t appreciate or pay any attention to her. In love with his first wife, he thinks Roopa can never be like her. But a positive Roopa hopes to win him over.

One fine day, her husband’s disinterest completely disheartens Roopa and in frustration she hits a rolling pin on a shelf but mistakenly hits her husband, and he dies!! The story actually begins here when Amaranth’s ghost decides to haunt her for revenge. He tries to ruin her life but the story unfolds some secrets about how he had taken some decisions in life that could be harmful to the family, which Roopa tries to fix. Roopa’s life will grow with each member of the family, each of whom will add humor to the show.
