With great hopes of a happy and fulfilled life, Jhanvi marries Viraj. But her hopes and dreams turn into nightmares, when it is revealed that Viraj had obsessive, compulsive disorder.

If things around him were not just the way he wanted them to be, he would be deeply disturbed.  And his deep disturbance would result in him torturing Jhanvi. Viraj’s favourite game was when he played God and meted out punishment.   Even for small mistakes, Jhanvi would be punished severely.  Initially, the punishments were quite simple, but soon, they turned into torture, especially physical torture. Viraj had a desolate house in the hills and there was nobody around, whom Jhanvi could seek help from. She even attempted running away from the house, several times, but Viraj would always find her and increase the punishment.   Jhanvi endured quietly, but when she lost her unborn child due to his punishments, Jhanvi finally ran away from Viraj’ house. She meets Raghav who gives her shelter in his house.  Soon, she falls in love with Raghav and marries him.   Just when she thought the worst was over, Viraj comes back looking for her.
